State of the art sound
Translations, as close as possible to the original, are the foundations of all our projects. We only work with approved, professional translators and have privileged access to a pool of renowned writers and directors.
Research stands at the centre of what we do: we work closely with the academic world, in particular collaborating with local universities.
We make sure that the specifics of every single production – and in particular genres and environments – are transported into the German adaptation.
The mixing stage at Eclair Germany Studios in Berlin is equipped with Meyer Sound and Dolby Atmos as well as Dolby Digital 7.1 & 5.1. It is certified both for theatrical and home entertainment mixes.
In addition to French and English dialogue scripts, we also adapt Asian, Arabic & many other language scripts.
To meet the demand from the Franco-German television channel Arte, Studio 7 in Karlsruhe was set up in 2007 to provide versioning and accessibility services, including voice-over, subtitling and dubbing.
Its 250m2 facility features two recording and mixing studios.
The studio has specialised in voice-over and subtitles for documentary films over many years and works with a large pool of experienced authors, directors, speakers, translators and sound engineers to ensure the best possible results and high quality.
Our aim is to reproduce the original in the German version as faithfully as possible. In order to fulfil the requirements of the demanding content of our productions, research and cooperation with specialized translators are the heart of our work. Conscientiousness and precision define our sound recordings.
