This year’s edition of the German Dubbing Awards honouring the talent that significantly contributes to the success of international films in German cinemas and television, has recognised the excellence of the German version of Lupin, a Netflix series, produced at  Eclair Studios Germany – Christa Kistner Synchronproduktion.

“Lupin” (Netflix) was nominated alongside “In Therapy” (ARTE), also produced at  Eclair Studios Germany – Christa Kistner Synchronproduktion and “El Cid” (Amazon Studios), in the category of Best Drama Series for the German Dubbing Award 2021 (Deutsche Synchronpreis 2021), awarded by the Synchronverband eV – Die Gilde (https://deutscher-synchronpreis.de).  

Jürgen Wilhelm adapted and directed the German dubbed version, working with a cast of 46 German dubbing actors, including Sasha Rotermund lending his voice to Omar Sy in the role of Assane Diop, Bastian Sierich to Soufiane Guerrab as Youssef Guédira, Michael Iwannek to Hervé Pierre as Hubert Pellegrini, Anne Helm to Ludivine Sagnier as Claire and Cosmo Clarén to Etan Simon as Raoul.
